管理資訊 物理方法：機械砍筏機或收割機，能在短期內有效地去除大量的生物量，但應小心使用，因為植物碎片會助長傳播。收割也必須每一年做好幾次。鼓式翻耕此植物的根系結合水下吸除，已被用來控制侵襲。在田納西州使用水位操作，把水抽乾，已有效地用於控制族群。使用底部障礙物，包括特製材料，如玻璃纖維，聚丙烯，或聚氯乙烯(PVC)，拴在湖底阻擋陽光防止植物生長。底部障礙物是最適合局部地區的生長控制。 化學方法：除水草劑也可使用，但很少成功。 生物方法：北方湖泊的雜草會自然減少，與北美象鼻蟲有關，Euhrychiopsis lecontie會對西洋蓍草造成重大損害，但對本地物種沒有什麼影響。象鼻蟲可能可以當作生物控制劑。              管理資源 /鏈接 1.
