管理資訊 預防措施：應教育公眾，特別對寵物交易者，垂釣者，魚餌販售者，使其瞭解莫里斯綠螯蝦(Orconectes virilis)的負面影響以及釋放外來螯蝦相關的風險，可以幫助減少其引入到新的地方(ANSIS, 2007)。 要減少稻田灌溉系統受到的影響，可以暫時把水排乾，讓螯蝦進入自己的洞穴，水稻幼苗就可以生長(Godfrey, 2002)。 生物控制：保護垂釣魚類，減少捕撈魚類，以增加魚類捕食莫里斯綠螯蝦是降低其族群一個可能的方法(ANSIS, 2007)。 細菌和白斑綜合病毒，經測試，有潛力作為莫里斯綠螯蝦有效的生物控制劑。注射Spiroplama penaeiled細菌可導致 100%的死亡率，但在身體部位注射或餵食並沒有引起死亡，顯示同類相殘是不可行的。注射或餵食白斑綜合症病毒的死亡率為 100%，顯示它可能經由同類相殘而傳播。WSSV不會感染非目標無脊椎動物，但需要進一步研究這種病毒，以及其他潛在的生物控制劑(Davidson等人, 2010)。            管理資源 /鏈接 1.
