Location Specific Management InformationSaint Helena Rubus pinnatus is rapidly grows to a much larger size than the common bramble of Europe (Rubus fruiticosus). Attempts to extirpate it have failed. The roots grow to a great size and every bit left in the ground grows (Jackson 1905). Swaziland Rubus pinnatus is recorded in as naturalised in Swaziland. Western Australia Rubus pinnatus is recognised by the Western Australian Quarantine Inspection Service (WAQIS) as a quarantine weed species.
