    預防措施含羞草(Mimosa pudica)風險評估,由太平洋島嶼生態系統風險評估計畫(PIER)執行,使用澳大利亞風險評估標準(Pheloung, 1995)。其結果是18分,建議禁止進口到澳大利亞。

    物理方法:很難用手工除草,因為它有刺和木質的根部(瓦格納, 1983, PIER, 2005)。重複燃燒可能實際上會助長含羞草(Mimosa pudica)在牧場傳播(瑪格達等人, 2006)。

    化學方法:它容易受到一些除草劑傷害,包括麥草畏除草劑,草甘膦,毒莠定和綠草萣(帕森斯和卡思伯森, 1992)。對毒莠定(0.25磅/英畝)非常敏感,對綠草萣敏感。麥草畏除草劑和2,4-D效果較差。在土壤中施用丁唑隆除草劑有效”(Motooka等人, 2002)(PIER, 2005)。

This version of the database has been developed by the IUCN SSC ISSG as part of an Overseas Territories Environmental Programme funded project XOT603 in partnership with the Cayman Islands Government - Department of Environment. The compilation is a work under progress, the ISSG will manage, maintain and enhance the database with current and newly published information, reports, journal articles etc.
