    Mahe Is. (Seychelles) English 
    棲地改變: Seychelles Wolf Snake (Lycognathophis seychellensis) is listed as 'Endangered (EN)' in the IUCN Red List fo Threatened Species. This species is endemic to the Seychelles islands of Mahé, Silhouette, Praslin, Aride, La Digue and Frégate. Loss and degradation of its forest habitat due to the spread of the invasive tree species Cinnamomum (Cinnamomum vernum); and predation by introduced tenrecs (Tenrec ecaudatus) especially on Mahe and Praslin are current threats to the survival of the species (Gerlach and Ineich 2006c)

    競爭: Campnosperma seychellarum- a native of the Seychelles is listed as 'Critically Endangered (CR)' in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. It occurs only on the island of Mahe. Invasive alien plant species including Ceylon Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), coral bean tree, Sandoricum koetjype, and strawberry guava (Psidium cattleianum) compete with C. seychellarum and are a major threat to the survival of the species (Huber et al 2011)
