    Caulerpa webbiana is a Pan-tropical species with its northernmost and southernmost limits being Madeira and New Zealand respectively (Amat et al 2008).
    Known range: Atlantic Islands: Azores, Canarias, Cape Verde Islands, Madeira and Savage Islands; North America: Florida; Caribbean Islands: Cuba, Jamaica, Lesser Antilles, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands; South America: Chile, Brazil; Africa: Egypt, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Somalia, South Africa, Tanzania; Indian Ocean Islands: Reunion, Seychelles; South-west Asia: Saudi Arabia; South-east Asia: Philippines; Australia (Western Australia, Queensland, Lord Howe Island), New Zealand; Pacific Islands: American Samoa, Easter Islands Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, French Polynesia, Hawaii and Solomon Islands (AlgaeBASE, 2011)
