    Elephantopus mollis is a fast growing herbaceous plant that can reach over a metre in height. In the tropics and sub-tropics it is considered a very problematic weed for agriculture and animal husbandry.

    agricultural areas, natural forests, planted forests, ruderal/disturbed
    Geographical range
    Native range: West Indies and tropical America.
    Known introduced range: This herb is a widespread tropical weed (PIER, 2006).
