    Species Notes for this Location:
    House mouse, Mus musculus are thought to have been accidentally introduced by sealers in the 19th century (Cooper and Ryan, 1994 in Varnham, 2006). They are present on Gough Island, but not thought to be on surrounding islets, rocks and stacks (Cooper and Ryan, 1994 in Varnham, 2006).
    Management Notes for this Location:
    Removal of mice remains a long term goal, some control in buildings has been achieved (Cooper and Ryan, 1994 in Varnham, 2006). Further assessments of the impacts of mice are required (Jones et al., 2003b in Varnham, 2006).
