Management Notes for this Location: Small seedlings can be pulled out by hand. Important to Remove rhizomes also. Do not compost, put out with domestic rubbish. Roundup, Escort and Amitrole sprayed lightly on leaves and roots will completely kill plant in three to four months. Impacts: Competition: Produces massive branching rhizomes. These underground stems produce new buds and form a dense layer up to a metre thick, which other plants cannot penetrate.
