此物種詳細資訊 King George Is. (Antarctic) 狀態: 外來 入侵: 出現紀錄: ???????? 來源: Chwedorzewska 2008 此地點的物種說明: On King George Island Poa annua spreads and inhabits areas of the Arctowski oasis in the vicinity of the Polish Antarctic Station. P. annua has been observed in the vicinity of the Polish Antarctic Station since 1985. Its origin still remains unknown. The abundance of P. annua only in the vicinity of Arctowski Station suggests that Polish Antarctic expeditions may have been responsible for the introduction of the species over the course of 7 years. Thus, the most probable source of introduction is Central Europe. At the Arctowski
oasis P. annua colonises places strongly altered by human activities, where the soil structure is destroyed by earthworks or caterpillars and prefers sites sheltered from the wind (Olech 1996, in Chwedorzewska 2008). 影響: 生態系統變化: Poa annua was noted for the first time in natural communities in summer 2005 (M. Olech Unpub. Data). However, at South Georgia and Arctowski oasis it seems to be rather persistent than invasive, and has restricted distribution in the colonisation area (M. Olech Unpub. Data, McIntosh and Walton 2000, in Chwedorzewska 2008). 最後修改 : 26/03/2009 3:13:48 p.m.
