Notes sur la gestion de l'espèce dans cette localité:
    Notes sur la localité:
"Uberlandia is within the Cerrado biome, which is characterized as a mosaic of plant physiognomies that range from open grassland to closed woodlands. In addition, semideciduous and gallery forests occur in areas with more nutrient rich and/or wetter soils (Oliveira-Filho & Ratter, 2002). The Cerrado is recognized for its exceptional biodiversity of vascular plants, many of which are endemic (reviewed in Castro et al., 1999; Oliveira-Filho & Ratter, 2002). It also is one of the most threatened ecosystems in South America, with over 40% of the biome converted to agriculture and the remainder highly fragmented (Arroyo et al., 1999; Klink and Machado, 2005)" (Pacheco &Vasconcelos, 2007).
    Impacts:
Compétition: The negative influence of exotic species on overall species richness in the green spaces of the city was likely due to P. megacephala outcompeting other species.
