    Species Notes for this Location:
    Mozambique tilapia (Oreochromis mossambicus) became established in the San Antonio River after escaping from a channel within the local zoo. Several hundred actively guarded and recently abandoned tilapia nests were discovered within the study area, indicating that the population is breeding very successfully.
