    Species Notes for this Location:
    Schefflera actinophylla is one of the main invasive alien plants of natural and semi-natural areas in French Polynesia (Florence et al., 2007). The species is classified as a "threat to biodiversity" (Article n° 244/CM of 12th February 1988 completed by article n° 65 CM of 23rd January 2006).
    Management Notes for this Location:
    The species is registered on the list of 35 invasive species that threaten native biodiversity (Article n° 244/CM of 12th February 1988 completed by article n°65 CM of 23rd January 2006). Its introduction and its inter-island transport are forbidden. Destruction is authorized. Since 2006, management activities have been caried out in Tahiti by nature conservation groups (Meyer, Comm. Pers. 2007).
