    Species Notes for this Location:
    The first appearance of Rhithropanopeus harrisii was in Polish waters of the Vistula delta system. It later spread to the Pomeranian Bay, Szczecin Lagoon, and the Gulf of Gdansk (Grabowski et al., 2005).

    Competition: Rhithropanopeus harrisii larvae were reported to dominate local zoobenthos in the Dead Vistula, Poland (Grabowski et al., 2005).
