His research investigates the effect of Chinese tallow leaf litter on aquatic faunal communities in wetlands where the tree is invasive. His
research has addressed the effect of Chinese tallow on several taxa, but he mostly works on comparisons of the anuran assemblages between ponds
with different invasion histories. This work is supplemented by mesocosm studies in which tadpoles were exposed to leaves from tallow or native trees. This work is on-going ; interested parties may contact him for pre-prints and re-prints as the work is completed.
