Dr. Rachel Atkinson is the coordinator of the introduced plant program at the Charles Darwin Foundation (CDF). CDF works closely with the National Park Service to provide technical assistance to weed control programmes. Our work involves training weeders, carrying out control trials, investigating weed species ecology, establishing systematic searching methodologies for eradication programmes, carrying out introduced plant species inventories, weed risk assessments etc.
