    Sorghum bicolor ssp.drummondii


    S. halepense may be confused with Sudan grass (Sorghum bicolor ssp. drummondii), but these species mainly differ in that S. bicolor ssp. drummondii lacks a rhizome system. The knob-shaped seed stalk tip of S. halepense is another feature that can distinguish between the two species.
